Kite Base

A Kite Base is a fundamental starting point for many Origami models including simple birds, boards or fish, and is also used as the starting point for some other bases.

As the name suggests, once completed the paper is left in a shape that resembles a traditional kite.

The key here is accurate creasing for the central crease, and accurate alignment with that crease, so take your time!
