Square (Preliminary) Base

A Square Base is a fundamental starting point for many Origami models of all types. Square bases are used to create models of all difficulties, from very simple to very complex.

Square bases are also known as Preliminary bases, and the two terms are used interchangeably in a lot of instructions.

Square bases are used to transform your larger square of paper into a smaller square that consists of several layers.

As always, take your time to make accurate and crisp folds.
